Presenting Live Theatre to Broughton and District since 1946

Our aim is to produce three full length plays a season ranging in style from serious drama to farce and we have, to date, presented over 200 plays as you will see from the full list of productions.  Our membership of around 40, is drawn from all the surrounding areas of Broughton and beyond!  Many have been active members for 40 years and form the backbone of our society.

We are blessed with an appreciative very loyal audience, almost 200 of whom are season ticket holders, paying rather in excess of the original 50p!  Several of our “Friends” have supported the society for almost all of its 65 year history.  That’s loyalty!!

We remain the only Theatre Group actually performing in Broughton, Preston and are justifiably proud of our title THE CLUB PLAYERS AT BROUGHTON.................................
